Here are a couple of pictures of my Heddon River Runtie
Collection.
A few years ago, I got interested in these "cute" little baits.
I have never fished with one at all! I just liked them,
so I started collecting them. This part of the world--Southeast
Missouri-isn't really known for fly fishing, so I don't see these
little baits very often.
The first picture is of the full collection of 15 different Runties.
They are all different! Sometimes it is hard to see the differences.
The scale patterns, belly label, line tie as well as the color
pattern, are a few of the things that make them different.
The second picture is of the two most difficult to find.
The Goldfish (XGF) color pattern was only produced one year-1938!!
As common as the Blackshore (XBW) color pattern is in most lures,
it is pretty hard to find in the River Runties.
Good luck with the site Henry and I hope you gets lots of help
from the other collectors.
